I want, no I demand my country back!

I was born free and I intend to stay free! This Bush war criminal cabal will never break my will to remain free!

I wonder what would the world be like if all of our children were taught to question everything, and never to take anything at face value. I know I've always been the eternal skeptic, never accepting anything in this world at face value, and I have always questioned all "givens".
Trust is earned, never freely given. If someone says, "this is thus and so", I say "prove it". Because if anything that is claimed as a fact cannot stand-up to the light of day, then it is not the truth. And if it is not the truth, then it should never be accepted, no matter how many times the BIG LIE is told, and no matter much power the ones telling it thinks they have over us!
More of my rant under the fold...

No one has inherent power over you, or can obtain physical power over you, short of by force, unless they first convince you of the validity of the same, because the human mind is stronger than the physical realm.

It is not a given or a right that any government has to bind its people in the shackles of slavery, by and through their own will. Thomas Jefferson once wrote words to the effect that, our government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed. Without our consent, then, our government is usurping power it does not inherently, morally, or legally have.

When it resurrects the dead bones of monarchy over our objections, it has forfeited any right that it has to govern us, because it has nullified our citizenships against our will and made SUBJECTS out of us all, which is diametrically opposing every precept of freedom for which the Founding Fathers ever stood--and died.

This by very definition is tyranny, and they who hold such ideals as sacrificing our liberties for and in the name of dubious temporary security in the palms of their hands for dear life, will find that they may one day no longer have any hands with which to hold anything, but especially their power over us. Meaning that by violating our trust they risk more than just severe consequences for themselves when the people revolt, and revolt they will when they've had enough.

They are endangering all of us and indeed themselves, including the rest of the world's democracies. A superpower nation of slaves and subjects to any king is no more secure than they were before being attacked by any outside threat, if by defending us from our external enemies our government has internally done more damage to our republic, our Constitution, and our freedom than the terrorists.

When evil men dare to go where even angels fear to tread, and overthrow our Constitution, they bind us with the chains of slavery. This is a most dangerous road to travel, because slaves are angry at their masters all the time, and cannot possibly be trusted to remain obediant to the dictates of a despot.

This bears repeating: Slaves are angry at their masters all the time, and slaves cannot be trusted behind their masters' backs! Dissent is not treason, but overthrowing the Constitution in the name of fascism, false patriotism, and enslaving our people, and bullying, attacking, and subjugating nations that were at no time any imminent threat to us, for false missions is!

All living things desire to be free, and this is especially true of all men who were free-born from the womb, and have tasted the sweet blessings of liberty. They will not soon forget what they once had, the rights they assumed were inalienable and oft taken for granted.

And they will never forget those who thought themselves so haughty and insulated from the people's wrath and accountability, they could trample our Constitution with impunity forever.

And they will certainly not have mercy on those who are presumptuous in the thinking that such freedoms which were obtained and kept alive through enduring hardships beyond measure, and which have stood the test of time--and assaults of despotism from both within and without, for over two centuries at a very high price in blood, that that government which now has elevated itself above its station and has now become our hard taskmasters, ignore to their peril that a free man's will to be free is greater than any king's will to enslave, and that desire to remain free will be backed by action in blood, if necessary.

No army on this planet can break a man's will to remain free. Breaking their bones under the treads of their tanks, bombing and strafing them, and lining them all against the wall in front of firing squads, and interning them all in concentration camps, YES, but never breaking their will. And what good is it being king if obediance, love, and allegiance has to be forced upon his subjects? Only a fool--or a megalomaniacal sociopath would think that way!

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. An angry, oppressed people is a dangerous people and no country on earth is safe as long as there exists slavery, or despots who would make slaves out of free men.

A free people longs for peace and their government is secure, knowing that peace is only assured when their government rules by their permission, not through the barrel of a gun--or through the dictates of any king. We've already been down the road of monarchy. It's dead bones were buried on July 4, 1776! I for one do not intend to resurrect them, or stand idly by while there are those in power today who intend to do just that, resurrect the dead bones of monarchy, once again.

Tyranny has no guarantee of surviving among free men, any more than a ship caught in a tsunami has any hope of making it to shore! Study history before our oppressors have a chance to revise and re-write it. Those that soon forget its awesome, timeless, and dire lessons, are doomed to repeat it!
